New to contact lenses?
If you’ve never tried contact lenses before, we understand that they can seem a bit daunting. Or maybe you’ve tried contacts before but didn’t get on with them? With years of experience and successful fittings behind them, our contact lens specialists are well versed in helping all sorts of people to find and wear lenses that offer the best clarity and comfort for them – even if you’ve had a negative experience before.
What’s involved?
Our contact lens fitting service can take up to an hour. During this appointment, we will demonstrate how to insert and remove your lenses, and make sure you’re comfortable with doing it yourself before you leave. We’ll also go over your recommended lens care routine with you, explaining how to clean and store your lenses.
Why choose contact lenses?
Contact lenses are perfect for the majority of lifestyles and especially great for those of you who are very active. Glasses can slip down your nose when it’s hot, get fogged up when you wear a face mask, and while we stock plenty of stylish frames, some people simply prefer the more natural look that contact lenses offer.
Contact lens technology has come a long way, which means that many people who found lenses challenging when they first tried them years ago tend to find they get on well with them now. Still not sure? We offer a free trial after your initial consultation so you can go away and make sure you do get on with them before committing to purchasing your supply.
Getting regular check-ups
Once you start wearing contact lenses, we like to see you for regular check-ups to monitor your prescription and so we can examine your eyes for any potential issues. This will help us to ensure you continue to wear the best lenses to suit your vision, eye health and overall lifestyle.
